About the role#
We are looking for engineering students to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program. This role provides hands-on experience and mentorship within our engineering teams. You will work directly with staff on project progression, gain exposure to industry-specific software, and participate in site visits to see active projects. The program includes regular feedback sessions and meetings with senior leadership to discuss your career goals.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering staff with project tasks.
- Assist with construction specifications and engineering calculations.
- Help with drafting as needed.
- Participate in site visits to observe work in progress.
- Meet with senior leadership to discuss career development.
- Learn to use engineering software such as M-FAD and PLS-CADD.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Masters student.
- Pursuing a degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.

- Locations: Raleigh, NC; Lake Mary, FL; or Tampa, FL.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 20-40 hours per week.
- Modality: On-site.
