About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for students pursuing degrees in engineering. You will join our team for a 2-3 month period to gain hands-on experience and contribute to active projects. The program includes one-on-one mentorship, weekly feedback sessions, and opportunities to meet with senior leadership to discuss career goals.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering staff with project progression.
- Assist with construction specifications and engineering calculations.
- Help with drafting tasks when required.
- Attend site visits to observe active work.
- Learn to use engineering software like M-FAD and PLS-CADD.
- Gain exposure to mapping and surveying industries.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Masters student.
- Pursuing a degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Clear verbal and technical writing skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This internship is based on-site in Raleigh, NC, Lake Mary, FL, or Tampa, FL.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
- Hours are flexible between 20 and 40 hours per week.
