About the role#
Ericsson is seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to support the growth of its Americas business. This 12-week internship offers exposure to Finance, Accounting, Commercial, and Operations teams. You will work in a hybrid capacity based in Plano, Texas, starting May 25, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support monthly closing and performance reporting for Market Area Americas.
- Assist with forecasting, planning cycles, and financial model updates.
- Analyze financial and operational data to help build business cases and track results against success metrics.
- Help with cost allocation, recovery models, and other financial management tasks.
- Support data quality checks and prepare financial presentations for Finance leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on insights, process improvements, and analytics initiatives.
- Provide documentation and analysis for internal audits.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum 2.7 GPA or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills and interest in financial planning.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Curiosity regarding data analytics, visualizations, and ERP/SAP tools.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- High integrity and a willingness to follow Ericsson’s code of business ethics.
- An unofficial copy of your transcript must be uploaded with your application.
