As a Business Analyst Intern within the Digital Retail Lending department, you will support the development of innovative banking solutions. This role focuses on bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring that retail lending initiatives are well-defined, documented, and delivered effectively.
What you'll do#
- Gather, clarify, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for retail lending technology projects.
- Support product discovery, process analysis, and the definition of solutions by translating business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Manage and maintain product backlogs, including tracking priorities and dependencies across cross-functional teams.
- Create and maintain essential project artifacts, such as process maps, requirements documents, feature briefs, and presentation materials.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to clarify scope, resolve requirement questions, and assist with user acceptance testing and defect triage.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Understanding of software delivery concepts, including APIs, system integrations, data flows, and testing practices.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Visio is considered an asset.
