About the role#
As a Modern Workplace Analyst Intern, you will join the Infrastructure and Operations team to support and improve the user experience across the bank's endpoints, including laptops, mobile devices, and cloud solutions. Your work will focus on streamlining service delivery and supporting the Digital Workspace Strategy through policy development and process improvement.
What you'll do#
- Deploy, configure, and manage physical endpoints using Intune and Autopilot.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain the Azure Virtual Desktop environment.
- Monitor endpoint performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Automate routine tasks using workflows, ITSM platforms, or scripting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create policies, processes, and application deployments.
- Assist in patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance efforts, including the use of Qualys.
- Support the management of Nerdio, workspaces, and auto-scaling for resource utilization.
- Participate in building co-managed Windows 11 environments and troubleshoot Group Policy and Intune policies.
- Serve as an escalation point for endpoint support and maintain reporting on Azure AVD usage.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing post-secondary education in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related IT field.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Basic understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop implementation and support.
- Familiarity with patching tools such as Qualys.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS, Microsoft 365, Azure, and endpoint management tools.
- Understanding of ITIL v4 principles and experience with Asset Management systems.
