About the role#
The Credit Risk Intern will report to the Senior Manager of Credit Risk and collaborate with analysts, associates, and managers. This role focuses on supporting operational and transformation initiatives, including the automation of IFRS 9 controls and the adoption of AI tools within the department. You will contribute to maintaining data integrity and supporting sound risk management practices while gaining exposure to real-world credit risk challenges.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the automation of IFRS 9 controls and checks for audit purposes.
- Support the organization of electronic documents and develop solutions for automation.
- Identify opportunities to use AI tools to improve efficiency, documentation, and analysis.
- Support Credit Risk teams with the setup and adoption of AI tools by organizing inputs, testing use cases, and documenting outputs.
- Assist with process improvements and the documentation of new procedures.
- Support basic experimentation and learning related to AI-enabled workflows under the guidance of Risk and Data partners.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Three months to one year of experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft PowerShell, Microsoft Power Automate, Python, or SQL.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and experience utilizing AI for organization and automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to think systematically when developing technological solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
