About the role#
We are looking for an IT Portfolio and Project Management Co-Op to join our team in Chaska, Minnesota. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within our Portfolio and Project Management Office to support project execution and process improvement.
What you'll do#
- Create, review, and refine PMO processes and documentation for training and project execution.
- Partner with staff to document requirements and enhance current PPM tools.
- Test and implement updates within our core PPM software.
- Identify gaps and pain points in the existing PPM toolkit.
- Support ongoing PPM projects and initiatives.
- Assist project managers with resource capacity planning using the Power Platform, PowerBI, and Smartsheet.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Applications, PowerBI, Smartsheet, and Confluence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and contribute new ideas.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8a-5p, from January through June.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for participating in a co-op program.
