About the role#
We are seeking a Communications Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. This 12-week program offers hands-on experience in internal communications and employee engagement. You will work across our three sites, collaborating with HR and other departments to support our workforce through various digital and print channels.
What you'll do#
- Draft, edit, proofread, and format employee-facing communications.
- Create content for internal newsletters, digital signage, SharePoint, Teams, and presentations.
- Assist with the development of the EBAD Beacon by gathering content, drafting articles, and organizing layouts.
- Design graphics, templates, and visuals for newsletters and signage.
- Support employee engagement, recognition, and recruiting campaigns.
- Help with internal events, photography, and storytelling initiatives.
- Maintain communication calendars, project trackers, and content approval workflows.
- Ensure all communications align with our branding and remain consistent across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student.
- A major in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams is helpful.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, photography, or video tools is preferred.
- We encourage you to include a portfolio or examples of previous work with your application.
