About the role#
MIT Lincoln Laboratory is hiring a Summer Research Program Intern for the Tactical Edge Communications Group (Group 06-62). This role focuses on the design, implementation, and analysis of communication system components. You will work alongside a mentor who provides guidance and direction on your projects.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development of advanced digital signal processing algorithms.
- Design and develop antennas or RF front-ends.
- Assist in prototyping communication systems.
- Gain exposure to various aspects of RF system design and signal processing techniques.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, RF systems engineering, FPGA development, GPU programming, or embedded software development is helpful.
- Familiarity with communication theory and system design is a plus.
