About the role#
This is an 8-month co-op assignment designed for students to gain practical experience in a technical business environment. You will work on-site in Marshalltown, Iowa, as part of a team focused on automation machinery manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams in developing and refining design tools and best practices.
- Evaluate new product designs and valve constructions for critical service applications.
- Troubleshoot valve performance issues and conduct engineering analyses to find root causes.
- Provide technical support to global sales offices regarding product quotations.
- Assist with daily order execution, including design modifications and application reviews.
- Collaborate with functional groups to improve operational efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, specifically Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Agriculture.
- Sophomore class standing or higher.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Ability to contribute to a team environment.
- Proficiency in computer programming or VBA.
