About the role#
As a Project Management Co-Op, you will work directly with Transition Project Managers to support operations and ongoing projects. You will act as a bridge between sales and operations, helping to assess client facility needs, analyze equipment, and build maintenance programs. This role offers hands-on experience in facilities management and continuous improvement while working alongside account management, sales, procurement, and operations teams.
What you'll do#
- Assist with core project management tasks, including labor and material cost projections, budgeting, and work-in-progress reporting.
- Identify, validate, and document client facility equipment and services.
- Build process workflows and create charts or graphics using Visio.
- Develop and deliver training presentations for functional and cross-functional teams.
- Manage electronic documents and records.
- Participate in training covering project management, business unit structures, facility equipment operations, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Gain experience with maintenance work order management systems, such as Corrigo.
- Analyze data related to labor, costs, and project progress.
- Learn to read and interpret contracts, understand KPIs, and manage change order processes.
- Participate in weekly feedback sessions, monthly formal assessments, and a final performance review.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program from an accredited college or technical trade school. Business majors are preferred, but all majors may apply.
- A valid driver's license.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to read, interpret, and write professionally in English.
- Preferred skills include proficiency in Microsoft Planner, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Visio.
- Preferred experience using Excel formulas and creating Pivot Tables.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position based in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
- You must be able to commute to the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
- Occasional travel is required, ranging from 10% to 40% based on assigned projects.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
