About the role#
DeBra-Kuempel is hiring a Project Manager Co-op for the Summer 2027 term. This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and service projects. You will work alongside project managers and field teams to gain hands-on experience with scheduling, project administration, and customer communication.
What you'll do#
- Assist with planning and organizing construction projects from start to finish.
- Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting notes.
- Track project schedules, milestones, and budgets to ensure progress remains on target.
- Coordinate with field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
- Help procure materials and equipment by tracking orders and deliveries.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits to observe safety practices and operations.
- Review records to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
- Use Microsoft 365 and project management software to maintain information and generate reports.
- Follow company safety policies and quality standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Interest in construction, building systems, and customer service.
- Commitment to integrity, quality, and following established processes.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
- The role is on-site in Cincinnati, Dayton, or Columbus, Ohio.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
