About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship based on-site in Iowa. You will work within one of our branch claims departments to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist the claims team with the investigation, negotiation, and disposition of minor multi-line claims.
- Learn about our company culture, business processes, and products.
- Develop a practical understanding of how the insurance claims process works.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
- We prefer candidates who have completed their junior year of college.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in property casualty insurance.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to solve problems.
- Familiarity with personal computers.
