About the role#
We are hiring a National Office Intern to join our Tax team in Fort Lauderdale. This is a paid, part-time position designed for students pursuing a career in accounting. You will gain hands-on experience in a hybrid work environment while working alongside our tax professionals.
What you'll do#
- Learn the preparation procedures for federal and state income tax returns for corporate and individual clients.
- Assist the team with tax planning tasks.
- Support the completion and review of tax provisions.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Accounting.
- On track to complete 150 credits for CPA eligibility, with a graduation date between December 2026 and September 2027.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- Work is performed in a hybrid modality, requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm).
- You must be able to work in the office at least 2-3 days per week.
