About the role#
This 10-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in executive search and leadership advisory. You will join as a generalist, supporting live client assignments across various industries and leadership topics. Working alongside researchers and consultants, you will learn how teams assess markets, identify leadership talent, and support clients through complex decisions. The program includes project work, structured training, mentorship, and a capstone project designed to address a real business need.
What you'll do#
- Support live executive search assignments through company and industry research, market mapping, and candidate identification.
- Help build and refine target-company and candidate lists using firm resources.
- Analyze information to support search strategy, team discussions, and decision-making.
- Prepare draft internal and client materials, including research summaries, profiles, presentations, and trackers.
- Participate in internal search-team discussions and observe consultant or client-related conversations.
- Work across different industries and practice areas.
- Build relationships with a research mentor, a consulting mentor, and colleagues across the firm.
- Complete structured onboarding and training on firm tools and search execution.
- Deliver a capstone project that produces a practical, reusable output.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student, expected to graduate in 2028.
- Status as a college junior entering their senior year after the internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Intellectual curiosity and an interest in companies, industries, people, and leadership.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
- Initiative, professionalism, and comfort working in a varied project environment.
- Willingness to ask questions, seek feedback, and learn through observation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.

- Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks, beginning in June).
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $25/hour.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
