About the role#
This 10-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in executive search and leadership advisory. You will join as a generalist, supporting live client assignments across various industries and functions. You will work alongside researchers and consultants to learn how teams assess markets, identify leadership talent, and support clients through complex decisions. The program includes structured training, mentorship, and a capstone project.
What you'll do#
- Support live executive search assignments through company research, market mapping, and candidate identification.
- Build and refine target-company and candidate lists.
- Analyze and synthesize information to support search strategy and team decision-making.
- Prepare draft internal and client materials.
- Participate in internal search-team discussions and observe selected consultant or client conversations.
- Build relationships with a research mentor, a consulting mentor, and colleagues.
- Complete structured onboarding and training.
- Complete a capstone project that addresses a real business need.
What you'll need#
- Current college junior entering their senior year.
- Minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Intellectual curiosity and an interest in understanding companies, industries, and leadership.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
- Initiative, professionalism, and comfort working in a diverse project environment.
- Willingness to ask questions, seek feedback, and learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
