    About the role#

    This internship provides hands-on experience within the Compressor Aerodynamics department at our global headquarters. You will work on individual projects, participate in team activities, and shadow engineering leadership to gain insight into the rotating equipment industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Run high-fidelity aerodynamic simulations and validate models using historical test data and numerical baselines.
    • Support active prototype test runs, evaluate performance data, and update data acquisition workflows.
    • Develop proposals for test-rig modifications and hardware upgrades using technical drawings and engineering calculations.
    • Assist senior engineers with 3D CAD modeling, analytical evaluations, and experimental research.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering program.
    • Completion of at least 3 years of a Bachelor's degree.
    • Master's degree students in these fields are also encouraged to apply.
    • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

    Location & details#

    • This position is based on-site in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.
    • Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • This is a paid, full-time internship.
