About the role#
Duquesne University seeks an Office Assistant for the Campus Ministry department. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position. The role is available on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors, answer the phone, and respond to general inquiries when the administrative assistant is away.
- File and sort music.
- Count weekly deposits and prepare the necessary paperwork.
- Distribute items across campus.
- Schedule masses, write cards for those requesting a mass, and keep the mass intention website updated.
- Handle general office tasks like copying, filing, and updating databases.
- Post updates to social media accounts like Instagram and Facebook.
- Assist with making videos for department events and programs.
What you'll need#
- You must have Work-Study eligibility.
- Familiarity with computers and general technology skills.
- Experience posting content to social media.
- Pursuing a major in Business Administration or Communications is preferred.
