About the role#
The McAnulty College Graduate Office is hiring an Office Assistant for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time position located on-site in Pittsburgh. This role is open to students who qualify for work-study.
What you'll do#
You will support the daily operations of the Graduate Office. Your primary tasks include:
- Answering general questions for Liberal Arts graduate students.
- Scanning and filing documents electronically.
- Updating student records and data.
- Helping run graduate student events like orientation and graduation ceremonies.
- Managing the Liberal Arts Food Pantry, which involves organizing supplies and assisting patrons.
What you'll need#
- Current eligibility for work-study.
- Proficiency with electronic filing and data entry tasks.
- Ability to provide accurate information about University processes.
- Enrollment in a Communications or Business Administration program is preferred.
