About the role#
The Supply Chain Associate Program is a leadership and development initiative for college graduates. This is a rotational program designed to build a pipeline for future leaders and technical experts within the Supply Chain department. You will complete four separate nine-month assignments in areas such as sourcing, operations, analytics, and supplier diversity. These rotations provide exposure to different parts of the business, including nuclear, generation, and major projects.
What you'll do#
- Participate in four rotations across diverse supply chain environments.
- Take on complex intellectual challenges.
- Lead both small-scale and large-scale initiatives.
- Gain practical experience in negotiations, commercial evaluations, and project management.
- Interact with other associates through planned social and work activities.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Previous internship or co-op experience at Duke Energy.
- Understanding of supply chain processes and the total cost concept.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
