About the role#
This position is for a Business Analyst I, specifically designed for individuals seeking an internship or co-op conversion opportunity for Summer 2027. You will provide analytical, technical, financial, and accounting support to management and customers while assisting with data-driven decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate project data including financial information, time-reporting, and project reporting.
- Utilize company systems and databases to manage information.
- Develop computer programs or applications as needed to facilitate data presentation for management review and strategy.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of performance measures.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Prior internship or co-op experience with Duke Energy.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and internal work management systems.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
- The ability to work independently with general direction.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship.
