About the role#
This position serves as an entry-level financial analysis role within the Finance Group. You will develop professional competence by completing structured work assignments and solving routine financial problems. You will work under the guidance of experienced team members to perform accounting, financial, and tax analysis while building the skills necessary to manage tasks with moderate independence. This role involves regular contact with internal personnel across Finance and Operations departments, as well as external officials.
What you'll do#
- Compile and analyze tax, finance, or accounting data.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
- Conduct research and analysis for ad-hoc requests and reporting.
- Prepare necessary regulatory and tax filings.
- Utilize various tax, budgeting, and accounting software technologies to complete documentation and input forms.
What you'll need#
- Master's degree in Accounting or an MBA.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.5 is highly desired).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to apply fundamental accounting and finance concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular or on-campus activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.
