About the role#
As a Strategy Intern, you will join a centralized team tasked with identifying, quantifying, and developing plans for new business opportunities. You will partner with diverse trading businesses across the firm to execute business plans and help operations, trading, and technology teams evaluate future initiatives. This role involves delivering data-based recommendations to senior leadership while investigating new market opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Identify and define strategic priorities in collaboration with leadership.
- Build relationships across trading groups to expand into new or incremental opportunities.
- Partner with trading desks and project managers to drive the implementation of new initiatives.
- Deliver data-based business planning recommendations, including analysis of cost models, scenario outcomes, and resource requirements.
- Investigate new business opportunities by analyzing exchange data, volume trends, and the competitive landscape.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related science discipline, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Proven ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools to automate tasks, build analyses, or improve productivity.
- Ability to leverage data to analyze and quantify new business opportunities.
- Understanding of derivative markets.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
