Venture Capital Analyst Intern

About the role#

As a Venture Capital Analyst Intern, you will work directly with the investment team to research key themes and evaluate investment opportunities ranging from early stage to growth. This role provides exposure to the venture capital landscape, with a focus on financial technology, including cryptocurrency, capital markets infrastructure, and enterprise software. You will undertake a primary research project alongside day-to-day responsibilities to support the team’s investment pipeline and portfolio companies.

What you'll do#

• Research key investment themes and opportunities within the FinTech and capital markets ecosystem.
• Underwrite and evaluate potential investments based on risk and return fundamentals.
• Assist with deal structuring and the evaluation of term sheets, including modeling deal economics in Excel.
• Prepare discounted cash flow, competitive market, and development model analyses.
• Join meetings with current and pipeline company management teams and co-investors.
• Prepare pitch decks for pipeline opportunities and follow-on investments.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, accounting, or liberal arts, graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• A minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent behavioral and communication skills.
• A strong interest in pursuing personal and professional growth and a passion for continuous improvement.
