About the role#
As a Research Intern in AI/ML, you will work alongside experienced technologists, quantitative researchers, and traders to solve complex problems in artificial intelligence and machine learning. You will be responsible for significant projects that vary based on current priorities, ranging from time series forecasting to the development of large language models. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, receive direct mentorship from industry experts, and participate in a comprehensive training program.
What you'll do#
- Design and implement large-scale deep learning models for areas such as computer vision, reinforcement learning, or graph neural networks.
- Improve data quality and optimize data pipelines.
- Perform time series forecasting.
- Apply deep learning methods to telemetry data, including sensor data and metrics collected from smart devices.
- Complete a significant project under the guidance of an experienced software engineer.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a master's or PhD in a technical discipline with a focus on machine learning, deep learning, or natural language processing (expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028).
- Expertise in deep learning, machine learning, and statistics.
- Proven experience in training large models.
- Proficiency in Python programming and scripting.
- Strong knowledge of deep learning tools and packages, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and scikit-learn.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to the team.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in software development (agile, version control, experiment tracking, code reviews) and publications in relevant conferences or journals.
