Quantitative Trading Analyst Intern

About the role#

As a Quantitative Trading Analyst Intern, you will gain exposure to the intersection of trading and technology. You will work on a small team, combining research, risk management, and technology to identify optimal investment strategies. Over the course of 10 weeks, you will complete project-based assignments and present your findings to senior leadership.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with senior traders, technologists, and quantitative researchers on the trading desk.
• Develop and improve trading strategies through hands-on project work.
• Conduct market research projects, ranging from macroeconomic data analysis to the application of machine learning techniques on market tick data.
• Manage position tracking, calculate risk, and analyze theoretical values.
• Participate in an options course and a technology immersion course.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in mathematics, economics, physics, statistics, computer science, or an engineering-related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Advanced quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong communication skills to advocate for ideas clearly and concisely.
• Self-motivation and a willingness to take on challenges and responsibility.
