Software Developer Intern

About the role#

As a Software Developer Intern, you will join a development team focused on trading businesses or network development. You will work under the guidance of senior technologists to design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions. The internship is designed to provide hands-on experience with complex, computationally intensive projects, with the goal of deploying your work during your time with the firm.

What you'll do#

• Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions across the firm, such as MLOps systems, data pipelines, and full-stack applications.
• Collaborate with software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts in cross-functional environments.
• Identify and advocate for innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
• Conduct research using a data-driven approach to perform statistical analytics on large datasets.
• Build advanced trading, analysis, risk applications, or monitoring and automation systems.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or PhD program in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, C++, Ruby, C#, Go, or Java.
• Exposure to multi-threaded applications, computational intelligence, algorithms, real-time programming, or GUI programming.
• A deep curiosity to learn and absorb new technologies quickly.
