About the role#
As a Software Developer Intern, you will join a development team to support network development initiatives or trading businesses. You will build advanced trading, analysis, and risk applications, or monitoring and automation systems. You will work under the guidance of senior technologists to develop computationally intensive software with the goal of deployment during your internship.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions, such as MLOps inference systems, data pipelines, and full-stack web applications.
- Collaborate with software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts in cross-functional environments.
- Identify innovative solutions to complex problems and communicate your ideas clearly to your team.
- Conduct research using a data-driven approach to perform statistical analytics on large datasets.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related discipline, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent software development skills in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, C++, Ruby, C#, Go, or Java.
- Exposure to multi-threaded applications, computational intelligence, algorithms, real-time programming, or GUI programming.
- A deep curiosity to learn and absorb new technologies quickly.
