About the role#
Dreamscape Learn is seeking a creative and motivated Animation Intern to support our design and content team. This role offers students hands-on experience working on active projects within a professional creative production pipeline. This is an unpaid educational opportunity intended for academic credit only.
What you'll do#
- Assist with creating 3D animations for digital experiences.
- Help with the animation of props, vehicles, and basic character or environment elements.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life.
- Revise animations based on feedback and project needs.
- Assist in organizing animation assets and files.
- Gain exposure to project tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Shotgun.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Animation, Motion Design, Game Design, or a related field.
- Familiarity with core animation principles, including timing, spacing, and squash and stretch.
- Experience or coursework using tools such as Premiere Pro, Blender, Maya, or Unity.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to take direction and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio or samples of animation work, including class projects.
- Preferred: Experience with Unreal Engine, interactive media, 3D modeling, or rigging skills, and an interest in immersive or educational experiences.
