About the role#
Dreamscape Learn is seeking an Animation Intern to support our design and content team. This internship provides students interested in animation, motion graphics, and storytelling with hands-on experience on active projects within a collaborative production environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the creation of 3D animations for digital experiences.
- Help animate props, vehicles, characters, and environments.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life.
- Revise animations based on feedback and project requirements.
- Organize animation assets and files.
- Gain exposure to professional production pipelines and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Shotgun.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Animation, Motion Design, Game Design, or related degree program.
- Understanding of animation principles including timing, spacing, and squash and stretch.
- Coursework or experience using tools such as Blender, Maya, Unity, or Premiere Pro.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to take direction and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio or samples of animation work, including class projects.
- Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, or interactive media is a plus, as are basic skills in 3D modeling, rigging, or drawing.
