About the role#
Dreamscape Learn is seeking a Legal Intern to support the legal department in the education technology sector. This internship is an unpaid educational opportunity offered for academic course credit only. It is designed to provide exposure to legal research, contract analysis, and compliance issues within an immersive learning environment.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research on topics related to company operations and compliance.
- Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and legal documents for accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of legal documentation and databases.
- Respond to legal inquiries and requests for documentation.
- Perform due diligence and gather information on legal matters.
- Attend meetings, take notes, and collaborate on special projects.
- Monitor industry regulations and legal trends.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the second or third year of a Juris Doctor (JD) program.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
