About the role#
Dreamscape Learn is seeking an Audio Intern to help create immersive soundscapes for cinematic VR experiences. This is a full-time, unpaid internship for Summer 2026, designed to provide academic credit for students in fields such as Computer Science, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or Art. Interns must provide their own computer and will work in a hybrid environment.
What you'll do#
- Create original audio assets.
- Implement and engineer audio within the Unity game engine.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing sound and music libraries.
- Set up and support voice-over and sound effect recording sessions.
- Troubleshoot technical audio issues as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Technical understanding of sound engineering techniques, such as EQ and compression.
- Working knowledge of recording software, hardware, and at least one DAW (such as Nuendo, Logic, Pro Tools, or Ableton).
- Understanding of post-production or game audio workflows.
- Experience with the Unity game engine.
- Ability to adapt to changing creative direction and revise work based on feedback.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
