About the role#
The Barron's Wealth & Asset Management Group hosts invitation-only summits for financial advisors. These events cover innovations in wealth services, global economic developments, and professional growth strategies. As an intern, you will report to the Managing Director and support the team with research, database management, and event coordination. This is a paid, full-time summer position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with research projects focused on the wealth management industry.
- Compile and manage invitation lists using the Advisor Database.
- Clean up attendee records by removing duplicates and outdated information.
- Conduct personal outreach to summit invitees via phone and email.
- Manage conference inquiries and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Support attendees with information regarding summits, regional events, and advisor rankings.
- Coordinate with conference speakers and maintain data for their content submissions.
- Verify the accuracy of conference content across internal databases, websites, and printed materials.
- Organize the Continuing Education Credit application process.
- Use project management systems, including FileMaker and Cvent.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program, having completed at least two years of your Bachelor's degree.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and July 2029.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with financial data.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- An interest in finance, computer science, business administration, or wealth management.
- A professional demeanor and the ability to build trust with clients.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
