About the role#
The Trade Marketing and Custom Content teams within The Trust group manage communications, partnerships, and marketing strategy for The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s Group. This internship offers exposure to research, strategy, content development, and campaign management. You will work alongside the Trade Marketing Director, the Anchor and Contributing Editor, and their respective teams to support daily initiatives and high-profile industry events.
What you'll do#
- Support market research, competitive analysis, and industry insight gathering.
- Assist in developing trade marketing strategies and executing campaigns.
- Create custom content and marketing materials.
- Support storytelling and editorial work for client-facing programs.
- Assist with partnership coordination.
- Help plan and execute industry events and activations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a graduation date between December 2027 and July 2029.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A creative approach to content creation and storytelling.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset and attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
- Comfort with event planning and execution, including potential travel.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or Canva.
- Experience with project management or marketing platforms is a bonus.
- Majors in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration are preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid summer internship running from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- The role is hybrid and based in the New York City office.
- You must be available to work full-time and on-site during the program dates.
