About the role#
The Client Associate Intern joins the Multi-Media Sales Team for The Wall Street Journal and Barron's Group. You will gain exposure to media advertising and the print and digital sales process. This role provides insight into multi-platform selling and the full pre and post sales cycle. You will be based in our New York City office in a hybrid capacity.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic Next Market Cycle initiatives through research using client earnings reports and proprietary studies.
- Perform reporting and analysis to help increase revenue.
- Assist Client Partners with daily sales activities.
- Develop solutions, partnership concepts, and pricing models alongside the sales team.
- Prepare and send client presentation proposals.
- Deliver client support and maintain communication with clients and internal departments.
- Conduct research for meetings and special projects.
- Ensure the sales team has necessary materials for sales calls and RFP responses.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with at least two years completed.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and July 2029.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Data Science.
- A strong interest in Finance or Data Science.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets, Slides, and similar presentation platforms.
- Organizational skills to prioritize tasks that advance the sales process.
- Creative thinking to align marketer goals with our media audiences.
