About the role#
DoorDash Labs is an independent team focused on the intersection of software engineering and robotics. We are looking for interns to join us for a 12-week program to help solve business problems with technical solutions. You will work within teams such as Perception, Autonomy Platform, or DoorDash Air Cloud. You will be fully immersed in your team and have the opportunity to build and ship products that impact our customers.
What you'll do#
- Develop, maintain, and ship technical elements with support from your mentor and team.
- Act on feedback and coaching to grow your skills.
- Learn about the specific systems and technologies you contribute to.
- Collaborate with your team to solve real-world problems.
- Participate in intern programming, including leadership speaker series and social events.
- Present your project learnings at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Graduation date between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
- No more than 2 years of full-time work experience.
- Availability for a May or June 2027 start date.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with databases, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience writing clean code, using version control, and performing unit testing.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in either San Francisco, CA or Sunnyvale, CA.
