About the role#
As a Product Design Intern, you will join one of our core teams to work on real projects that impact consumers, merchants, and Dashers. You will be paired with a dedicated manager and supported by a community of designers. This 12-week program focuses on shipping improvements that reach millions of users.
What you'll do#
- Drive a project from early explorations to shipped work.
- Use AI throughout your design process to explore directions, build high-fidelity prototypes, and test ideas.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, PMs, and researchers to identify opportunities and ensure high-quality implementation.
- Test concepts with real users and iterate based on feedback.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in design or tech with an expected graduation in Fall 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
- Available for a full-time internship during Summer 2027.
- A portfolio showing strong design fundamentals in visuals, interaction design, and user-centered problem solving.
- At least one case study demonstrating AI application or the design of an AI-powered experience.
- Proficiency with Figma and experience using AI-driven tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
- Comfort using prototypes to communicate and test ideas.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site in San Francisco, California, or New York, New York.
