About the role#
Dominium is hiring a full-time Architecture Intern for our Dallas Regional Office for the Summer 2027 term. This position supports our Architecture Team on multifamily new construction and rehabilitation projects. You will gain hands-on experience in design, documentation, and project coordination while working directly with architectural staff, project managers, and the Vice President of Architecture.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation and revision of production drawings and construction documents.
- Create 2D drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials for design development.
- Incorporate markups, design revisions, and project information into architectural documents.
- Research building products, materials, and systems, including sustainable design solutions.
- Support construction administration by organizing project documentation and tracking submittals and requests for information.
- Evaluate technical and design solutions for building systems and project requirements.
- Maintain organized project files and provide administrative support to the team.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external project partners.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Architecture or a related field, or graduation within the last 12 months.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Foundational knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building systems.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving, mathematical reasoning, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles.
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp is preferred.
- An interest in multifamily development and affordable housing is preferred.

- This is an on-site position based in Dallas, Texas.
- The internship runs from approximately June 8, 2027, to August 20, 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time role.
