About the role#
The Partner Services Finance Intern will support the Corporate Services department at Dominium. This role assists teams across Accounting, Finance, Development Finance, Dispositions, Tax, and IT, as well as the CFO. The internship is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, Texas, running from approximately June 8, 2027, to August 20, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare financials for monthly and quarterly review meetings, property surplus cash distributions, limited partner buyouts, and refinances.
- Create and maintain basic financial models.
- Update unit and property workbooks.
- Assist with the Property Data Base (PDB) audit.
- Pull and format developer cash flow summaries.
- Attend and prepare for departmental meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Finance or a business-related field, or completion of such a degree within the last 12 months.
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under short deadlines.
- Ability to work with moderate independence while accepting delegated assignments.
- Capability to collaborate with personnel at all levels of the Corporate Services Department.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, or SQL is preferred.
