About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with capital projects at Dominion Energy. You will gain exposure to project management principles, supply chain operations, and power generation initiatives across renewable, fossil, hydro, and cybersecurity sectors. You will work directly with experienced professionals to learn about our business and operations.
What you'll do#
- Support various phases of the project lifecycle.
- Assist with project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout activities.
- Collaborate with team members to develop a practical understanding of project management.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university.
- Your anticipated graduation date must be in Spring 2028 or 2029.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
- Preferred majors include Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
