About the role#
Dominion Energy is seeking students for our device support internship. You will work on-site to help maintain our IT infrastructure and support our users. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Solve user problems to keep productivity high.
- Respond to complex questions via phone, email, and support tickets.
- Support electronic services and software according to set standards and triage documentation.
- Coordinate with IT infrastructure and support teams to resolve issues.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems.
- Must be a rising junior with an anticipated graduation date of 2028 or later.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Proficiency in Windows 11 and Office 365.
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Coursework or experience in PC hardware, desktop imaging, or network monitoring tools is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to the work location.

- Pay: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour.
