About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for CS-300 Advanced Computer Graphics for the Fall 2026 term. This position supports the instructor in classroom operations and student mentorship. You will work approximately 5 hours per week from August 31 to December 15, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Assist the course instructor with planning and conducting class sessions.
- Grade project assignments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Help students navigate complex topics and develop effective problem-solving strategies.
- Answer questions regarding project implementation.
- Meet with the instructor upon request to discuss performance and duties.
- Track and report your hours worked accurately.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen.
- Strong knowledge of CS-300 concepts and coursework, with a preference for students who have passed the course with a B or better.
- Good Academic Standing and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Comfort with tutoring or mentoring peers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with both students and faculty.
Location & details#
- The position is based in Redmond, Washington. You must reside within the state of Washington to perform this work.
- This is an on-site, part-time role.
- You may not work during any time when you have a scheduled class.
- The pay range is $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your number of terms worked at DigiPen.
