About the role#
The Teaching Assistant for CS-180 Operating Systems will support the instructor during the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time position requiring approximately 3 hours of work per week. TAs are responsible for supporting classroom operations, grading, and providing academic assistance to students.
What you'll do#
- Attend a majority of one of the class periods.
- Assist students in labs and during published office hours.
- Grade programming homework assignments and quizzes.
- Track and report the amount of time worked.
- Assist the instructor with equipment setup, presentations, and other requested tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Successful completion of CS-180 with a grade of B or better.
- Good academic standing and not currently on academic warning.
- Proficiency in the C/C++ programming language.

- Location: Redmond, Washington, United States.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 to December 2, 2026).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Note: Students must reside within the State of Washington. Employment is restricted to hours outside of the student's scheduled class times.
