About the role#
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for CS-165 under Victor Cecci for the Fall 2026 term. You will support the instructor in the classroom and help students master the course material. This is a paid, part-time position requiring four hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist the instructor during class hours, including equipment setup and facilitating presentations.
- Grade assignments based on specific rubrics.
- Provide remote support to students via Teams and email for basic questions.
- Track and report your work hours accurately.
- Meet weekly with the instructor to discuss performance and feedback.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of CS-165 with a grade of B+ or higher.
- Proficiency in C# and Unity.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to providing critiques.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a genuine interest in helping fellow students succeed.
- Ability to work independently.
Location & details#
- This role is on-site in Redmond, Washington. You must reside in Washington state to be eligible.
- Employment dates are August 31, 2026, through December 11, 2026.
- You must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- You cannot work during times when you have a scheduled class.
