About the role#
This position serves as a Teaching Assistant for CS-115 under the instruction of Pushpak Karnick for the Fall 2026 term. The role supports the instructor in classroom operations and provides mentorship to students enrolled in the course. This is a paid, part-time position requiring 6 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist the instructor with classroom setup and lecture operations.
- Facilitate student presentations and provide support during lab sessions.
- Answer student questions and provide mentorship to help students excel.
- Perform grading tasks outside of the classroom.
- Track and report all hours worked accurately.
- Meet regularly with the instructor for feedback and performance reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Proven proficiency with the CS-115 course material.
- Good Academic Standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Ability to work independently and interact with students as a mentor.
- A positive attitude toward learning and helping others.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 to December 15, 2026).
- Wage Range: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: Student employees must reside within the State of Washington and are not permitted to work during scheduled class times.
