About the role#
This position is for a Student Teaching Assistant for CS-115 during the Fall 2026 term. The role involves supporting the instructor in the classroom and providing academic guidance to students. This is a paid, on-site position based in Redmond, Washington, requiring approximately 6 hours of work per week. Employment is scheduled from August 31 to December 15, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Assist the instructor with classroom operations, including equipment setup and slide deck management.
- Facilitate student presentations and provide support during lab sessions.
- Answer student questions during labs and scheduled office hours.
- Perform grading tasks outside of the classroom.
- Submit attendance records and track and report all hours worked.
- Meet weekly with the instructor for feedback and performance reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Good Academic Standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Proven proficiency with the course material.
- Ability to work independently and interact with students in a mentorship capacity.
- A positive attitude toward learning and helping others succeed.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds, with the role consisting of 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.
