About the role#
The Rapid Social Internship offers hands-on experience within the Digital Rapid Response Team. You will learn to operate within the current media ecosystem to inform the daily political conversation. This role involves collaborating with the Mobilization Team and other departments to communicate and educate the public on modern political issues through design and creative content.
What you'll do#
- Create and design social media graphics and posts.
- Live clip events to amplify content on social platforms.
- Produce videos for high-impact social media moments.
- Learn new tools and techniques to improve workflow efficiency.
- Pull and analyze social media metrics on a weekly basis.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Figma and Premiere Pro, with a basic understanding of the Adobe Suite.
- Ability to manage a content calendar and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and familiarity with current social media trends.
- Status as a current undergraduate or graduate student, a recent graduate (within two years of the start date), or a veteran of the United States Armed Forces with a high school diploma.
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the program start date.
- Ability to commit to 20 hours per week.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship with a $3,000 stipend.
