About the role#
The DNC Design internship offers hands-on experience within the Content and Creative team. Interns work within an established brand identity to create assets that educate the public on political issues and support Democratic campaigns. This role involves collaborating across departments and participating in activities with the broader intern class.
What you'll do#
- Create and design social graphics, email graphics, digital ads, and merchandise.
- Produce print materials including event signage, backdrops, and flyers.
- Manage various projects from digital to print deliverables.
- Develop project and time management skills while learning new workflows.
- Assist the Operations team by attending weekly phone shifts.
- Participate in mandatory onboarding and offboarding sessions.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle rapid-response situations.
- Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented, organized approach.
- Familiarity with current design trends.
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or graduate program, or status as a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship with a $3,000 stipend.
