When We Count Fellowship

About the role#

The When We Count Fellowship is a part-time, paid program designed to train young supporters in grassroots organizing. Fellows will join a national network of organizers focused on electing Democrats in the 2026 election cycle. This role involves a commitment of ten hours per week, with a semi-monthly stipend of $400.

What you'll do#

• Organize and register Democratic voters within your local community using both in-person and relational methods.
• Participate in weekly training sessions led by senior political campaign operatives to learn organizing best practices.
• Meet established weekly voter registration goals.
• Engage with a national network of emerging organizers.

What you'll need#

• Must be between the ages of 18 and 29.
• A strong interest in organizing Democratic voters.
• Ability to work independently and manage personal goals.
• A commitment to diversity and inclusive organizing.
• Relevant academic background in fields such as Political Science, Sociology, Communications, International Relations, or Business Administration is preferred.

Location & details#

• This is a remote fellowship.
• The initial cohorts will launch in Arizona and Nevada, with potential for expansion to additional states throughout 2026.
• Start dates for the first cohorts are scheduled for March and April 2026, with additional onboarding throughout the summer.
