About the role#
The When We Count Fellowship is a part-time program for young supporters to learn organizing and voter registration skills. You will work ten hours per week to register Democratic voters in your local community. This role provides training from senior political campaign operatives on both in-person and relational organizing methods. You will join a national network of organizers working toward election goals in 2026.
What you'll do#
- Organize and register Democratic voters in your local area.
- Complete weekly training sessions on registration tactics.
- Meet weekly registration goals.
- Participate in a national network of organizers.
What you'll need#
- You are between 18 and 29 years old.
- You have an interest in organizing Democratic voters.
- You can work independently and manage your own goals.
- You have a strong commitment to diversity.
- Relevant majors include Political Science, Sociology, Communications, International Relations, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, paid fellowship with a stipend of $400 semi-monthly.
- The program runs during the summer of 2026.
- Initial cohorts are located in Arizona and Nevada, with potential for expansion to other states.
- This position does not offer sponsorship.
