About the role#

As a Surgical Technologist Student, you will play a vital role in the operating room by assisting surgeons and medical professionals during procedures. This position focuses on maintaining a sterile environment, preparing equipment, and supporting the surgical team to ensure patient safety.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments.
• Arrange the operating room with necessary supplies.
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sutures, and other materials during surgery.
• Help with patient positioning and monitoring vital signs.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of surgical instruments and equipment.

What you'll need#

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from a School of Operating Room Technicians.
• Current enrollment in a Surgical or RN program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous experience is preferred.
