About the role#
Dayforce is looking for a technical Product & AI Intern to join our team for the Winter 2027 term. You will work directly with our AI product team to support GenAI and AI Agent initiatives. This role involves developing prototypes, improving model performance, and evaluating multilingual output. You will help us evolve our product analytics and communicate findings to stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Build working demos in live code to show product opportunities.
- Create annotated datasets to improve LLM-based systems.
- Evaluate multilingual model output quality.
- Develop and refine product analytics in Pendo.
- Analyze product usage data in Pendo and Databricks to inform our roadmap.
- Write and refine documentation for stakeholder communications.
- Support team development workflows and experimentation infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a Computer Science or Engineering student.
- Experience with machine learning, specifically GenAI or LLM applications.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with tools such as Databricks, Pendo, and Visual Studio.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to turn ambiguous tasks into clear outputs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Preferred: Front-end experience with React or Streamlit.
- Preferred: Familiarity with multilingual NLP or localization tools.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to April 2027).
- Modality: Remote.
- Status: Full-time (37.5 to 40 hours per week).
- Compensation: CAD 28.2 to 32.3 per hour.
