About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. You will assist in delivering patient care, managing pharmacy workflow, and supporting quality assurance standards.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and manage patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to improve outcomes and align with company goals.
- Facilitate a positive team culture that promotes energy and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Perform inventory management and workflow tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring precision and finger dexterity.
- Close visual acuity for reading and transcribing information.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
