About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will assist in delivering patient care, managing patient care programs, and facilitating a collaborative team culture. This role requires you to lead with empathy and help patients manage their health needs.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional care to patients and customers.
- Manage patient care programs and adopt new clinical initiatives.
- Support pharmacy operations including inventory and workflow management.
- Lead with compassion for patients, caregivers, and your team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve health outcomes.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends with regular, predictable attendance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.

- This position is located in Manvel, Texas.
- The role is part-time and on-site.
- This is a paid internship.
